Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On June 30, 2019, Mr. Nitin Soma resigned from his position as Vice President – Information Technology of Net 1 UEPS Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”), effective immediately. The resignation of Mr. Soma was not the result of a disagreement with the Company or on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
